Chandigarh June 13: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal to issue a notification with regard to delineation of Mangar Bani falling in village Mangar, district Faridabad and its 500 meters buffer zone or no construction belt, for awareness of general public and for incorporating the same in the Development Plan of Mangar Bani 2031 AD for further sending the proposal for approval of Development Plan to the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest and Climate Change.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister has approved the proposal in-principle for accepting the watershed ridgeline approach for demarcating Mangar Bani.
The spokesman said that the total area under Mangar Bani is 653.45 acres and the area falling in 500 meters no construction belt around Mangar Bani is 979.13 acres. He said that a committee under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad was constituted with District Revenue Officer, District Forest Officer, District Development and Panchayats Officer and District Town Planner, Faridabad as its members. The Committee has completed the task of identification and marking the boundary of Mangar Bani and 500 meters wide buffer or no construction zone around it.
