  • CM directed Administrative Secretaries of various departments to install additional counters for Chief Minister’s Window to receive and upload complaints, especially in big districts 11-08-2016

    • Chandigarh August 11: With a view to further widen the scope of mechanism for redressal of grievances of the people and to ensure quick remedial measures, the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has directed that additional counters for Chief Minister’s Window  be set up to receive and upload complaints, especially in   big districts.
    • Mr Manohar Lal, who was presiding over a meeting of Administrative Secretaries of various departments to review the progress of CM window here also directed them to seek complaints and suggestions pertaining to every department in District Status Chart so as to analyze that which department in the District has maximum number of complaints. 
    • While reviewing the progress of Police Department, the Chief Minister directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to furnish the district wise data of ‘Harsamay Portal’ including that of duplicate complaints in the next meeting. He also directed the concerned Administrative Secretaries to take necessary steps to list out those subjects at College or University level which could be brought under the ambit of Right to Service Act. Apart from this, he said that the issues related to marks sheets should also be included under this Act besides making provision of fine in cases of delay in issuing marks sheets.
    • The Chief Minister also directed the Administrative Secretaries to make available adequate funds on time for various development works. He said that there was  no dearth of funds with the government for development works and added that in case there was  shortage of funds, they should inform his office so that additional fund could be released. He also directed to start social audit system at Panchayat level at the earliest.
    • Mr Manohar Lal also directed the officers present in the meeting to expedite the pace of development works and personally monitor the cases which are more than three months old.  He also directed them to give timeline for redressal of complaints of the concerned department and said that all the departments should set a tolerance limit in the overdue matter and the same be adhered to. He also gave directions for popularizing the concept of CM Window among the people of the State.
